Nine Queens Video competition

This year we invited four filmers to join the quest of the Nine Queens. Each filmer was teamed up with three of the riders and had all week to submit an edit by Saturday evening. The filmers were assigned with the task to capture a “typical week” in the lives of our Queens and the judges around Nine Knights MTB host Andi Wittmann looked for creativity, editing, choice of music, and action. The submission will be released one after another for the next week, so check out our first one, stay tuned and enjoy the show!

Photo Contest 2013 – images and results

Big it up for all our competing photographers at the Nine Queens 2013 in Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis. All of you guys and girls have done an amazing job taking photos and helping us to make the event unforgettable. Thank you so much Schöchi, Eleonora, Ananda and Jeremy! We owe you big time…Throughout the five days the invited photographers tried to get their best shots in 4 different categories. They had to hand in their favourite two shots on Saturday night and here are their submissions:

The winners of the week

Nine Queens is all about progressing the sport – in a lot of different aspects. The girls throw down with incredible skill, but they are not the only ones that make Nine Queens so special and progressive. Some of the best sports photographers and videographers in the world were invited to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and produced truly impressive results. The picture and video submissions will be up soon, let’s celebrate the winners first and look at their awesome prizes!

BANGER Highlight Clip Day 1 and 2

The busy schedule has not phased the Queens one bit as they continuously push the limit during every session. The first highlight video will definitely make many jaws drop; it is a testament to the evolution of the sport and the endless possibilities of freeskiing. Remember, we saved the best shots for the final edit, so it will get even bigger than this!
